Minda
Minda service providers

Minda runs on your computer. The companies below handle data only when a feature that uses them is on. A full, feature-by-feature account of what Minda sends is in Minda at Settings → About → What leaves this computer.
Behind the Minda account (only if you sign in)
- Stripe takes payments and runs the billing portal. It receives your email address, your plan and the payment details you type on Stripe's own pages. Minda never sees your card.
- Resend sends the email: sign-in codes, team invitations, and the one launch email to people who joined the website's waitlist. It receives the recipient's address and the message.
- Google, Microsoft, GitHub and Apple run the sign-in you choose. Only the one you pick sees you sign in.
- AI model vendors for Minda AI: OpenAI, OpenRouter (which passes a request on to the vendor of the model you picked), fal.ai, Google (Gemini, including Minda Live's spoken conversation when the operator turns Gemini Live on), Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen, including Minda Live's spoken conversation when the operator turns its Qwen voice on) and any other vendor the operator of this server adds in its admin panel. They receive the question, pictures, audio or video description you send, under their own terms. The Minda server keeps only each request's record: the model, its credits and the time, never the words.
- Anthropic (Claude Code): when Minda staff use it to improve Minda, it receives the improvement reports the admin panel makes from feedback. The reports leave out names and email addresses, but they quote the questions and answers people reported.
- The hosting provider of this server stores the account database. The operator of this server names it in the operator details on the Legal page when it is set.
Used by the app directly, not through Minda's servers
- AI providers you connect with your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen), or Ollama on your own computer, which sends nothing out. "Keep AI on this computer" stops every cloud provider.
- Google Translate receives the text you translate. DuckDuckGo receives the words of a web search the AI agent runs for you.
- The Chrome Web Store receives the extension id when you install or update an extension.
- The Tor Project serves the Tor program Minda downloads once, and the publishers of the harmful-site and ad-blocking lists serve those lists. Neither receives the addresses of the pages you visit.
- Services you set up yourself: your calendar's secret address, Notion, Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, your own mail server or your own web address for scheduled results.
Where data is processed
Where each provider processes data depends on how the operator of this server hosts it and which vendors it enables, and this page does not yet list regions. A model from DeepSeek or Alibaba (Qwen) is served by that vendor or by a host it uses, which can be outside your country. The model list in Minda names each model's vendor.
The operator of this server has not published who it is or how to contact it yet. Do not rely on this page until it has.
